I’ve always been a fan of electric vehicles. I made toys ones that followed light sources in my childhood. I also designed a convenience charging dock station concept for a garage because naively at the time I thought the biggest hassle was remembering to charge them when you got home.

So I get excited when any carmaker (Nissan in this case) talks about an electric car that’s actually going into production. Electric cars fit the driving habits of, what, like most of us most of the time? Electrics are the ideal commuter or day-use car. The only problem is those nasty batteries.
