Fairfax responds to the Arlington rap. I’m from Fairfax and lived in Arlington. The Arlington one was brilliant and self deprecating. I want to like the Fairfax one and laugh at my hometown, but it’s pretty much a miss. It has potential but suffers from really bad material and poor imitation. I don’t want to hear about how Fairfax has bars and restaurants similar to or better than those in Arlington. I want to see someone really chew up the lifestyle and spit it out into funny shapes the way Remy did with Arlington. Remy is actually from Fairfax County, anyway, so maybe he’s up to the task.
