All Things Considered drives around and misses turns in Tysons Corner, a place that may become a model for transforming car-centric formerly-“edge” Americas across the country into walkable and liveable communities.

I’m excited about what my home county may become even if we’ll be paying the “dumb tax” (mistakes made by those who go first) and even though I’ll likely only enjoy newfound walkability of childhood stomping grounds with the aid of mobility assistance devices. Kinda wish these 30-year plans had got started 30 years ago.
